Often, our bodies begin sending chemical messages to certain parts of our bodies if we are deficient in a particular vitamin or mineral. If you have suffered from throat discomfort and had mysterious and frustrating tension in your throat this could be a possible cause.
I had suffered from this for an extended period, well over 15 years and the damage it does to ones body is significant. Not the actual discomfort, but the deficiency. If you neglect your body and fail to provide the essential vitamins and minerals it needs for bodily processes, you run the risk of eventually developing a real symptom.
I had recently recovered from a goiter and that was a lot worse than the ongoing tension I felt in my throat, however, I can't say this tension that I had felt for so many years was easy to tolerate either.
People need to listen to their bodies and heed the demands it makes on us in the form of discomfort or pain. This is the only way the body can make the organism respond. When my doctors could not diagnose my throat discomfort because there was no symptoms, they told me it was anxiety. It was a mistake believing this advice, because it lead me to get stubborn about ignoring this tightness in my throat.
I remember after 15 ongoing years of this discomfort, that I got very anxious and jittery. I found myself fixating on the discomfort and my imagination conjured all sorts of nightmare scenarios. If you feel these sensations, you must act immediately.
